Welcome to the website of Jordan Evans-Hill.

Jordan is a novelist, specialising in historical fiction with a strong emotional twist. He was born in Pembrokeshire in West Wales, and served as a Footman to Queen Elizabeth II in the Royal Household, before moving into the heritage sector. He worked as Head of Marketing and Commercial at the Charles Dickens Museum, London – a place which he credits with encouraging him to write his first novel – and he currently serves as a trustee for the in-development Henry Tudor visitor centre.

He has written and developed a number of commercially successful events, including the ‘Sex, Gin & Opium’ tour, the ‘Ghost of London Past,’ tour and the ‘Night Soil Man’s Tour’. He has hosted two podcast series: one for the Windsor Guildhall which explored the Kings and Queens of England from William the Conqueror to the present day, and another for the Charles Dickens Museum which uncovered the historical realities behind Dickens’s famous novels. He has appeared on BBC London, Times Radio and Bloomsbury Radio.

He is represented by the wonderful literary agent, Rachel McMillan.
